Fire Door Signs

Purpose: Fire door signs identify which doors are fire doors and remind people to keep them closed to prevent the spread of fire and smoke.

Placement: Fire door signs should be affixed to both sides of the door, within eye level, with instructions matched to the specific type of door.

Fire Exit Signs

Purpose: Fire exit signs guide people to the nearest fire exit in the event of an emergency for a smooth, safe exit.
Placement: Fire exit signs should be positioned along your escape routes. This includes above exit doors and where there are changes in direction. Signs should also be visible in low lighting.
